comScore’s recently released The U.S. Mobile App Report outlines consumers mobile app use across the nation. Among the key findings is that consumers now spend 52% of their digital media time using mobile apps. This increase can partly be attributed to the fact that more than one-third of all U.S. smartphone owners download at least one app per month, while over half use apps every day. According to the report, the most commonly used apps include social networking, gaming, and listening to the radio.
