Mobile Future

Looking Back To Look Forward

The New Girl

The above scene from The New Girl episode “Landline” aptly depicts how many feel when they hear a landline phone ringing. And the numbers back this up. As the CDC reported this summer, 41% of American homes have dropped their landline phone and are now wireless only. That’s two out of every five U.S. households.

Advancements in wireless technology have also turned wireless devices into our bank, chauffer, barometer, trainer, and so much more.

Internet trends analyst Mary Meeker noted that we check our smartphones 150 times each day. The disruptive nature of mobile technology means new services and applications are coming to market at astounding rates, delivering more opportunities for consumers, and keeping our phones within arms reach 24/7.
