The smartphone app has already helped about 8,000 people find temporary jobs from both traditional companies and tech-startup spaces.  LearnUp is a training platform for employees to learn specific skills and also works with big companies such as AT&T and Old Navy to prepare applicants for specific job openings.

Approximately 86% of jobseekers who have a smartphone would use it to search for a job. And popular job search site Glassdoor finds that 45% of job seekers use their mobile device specifically to search for jobs at least once a day! And why not? You can respond to new job openings even quicker when you are on the go with your mobile device. A lot of job sites also have mobile optimization making it simple to upload your resume within seconds.
