We’ve seen a flurry of wireless data released lately and it all points to American consumers increased use and reliance on mobile. Check out some of these stats below:
- Pew’s new report finds 56% of American adults now own a smartphone.
- Mobile data traffic from tablets is forecasted to grow 40 times from 2012-2018 according to Ericsson.
- At the D11 conference, Mary Meeker pointed to mobile as one of the main Internet trends. She found that globally, mobile traffic makes up 15% of Internet traffic and that we reach for our smartphones about 150 times per day.
