As Gizmag reports, a new smartphone adapter lets users conduct eye exams using a smartphone’s camera. The EyeGo system has two adapters that when added to a smartphone’s camera can take a picture of the front and back of the eye. The EyeGo is currently available for the iPhone and will be available for Android devices soon. Another smartphone adapter could help diagnose ear, throat, and nose ailments. As FierceMobile reports, a new study shows how a smartphone-connected otorhinoendoscope can capture images of the ear, throat, and nose and be used to correctly diagnose patients.
