High Commissioner for Refugees has already given out 33,000 SIM cards and 85,704 solar lanterns for refugees to charge their mobile devices in order to get life-saving information and stay connected with their families. Tens and thousands of migrants who have been displaced due to the war in Syria are now utilizing the transformative power of smartphones in life-changing ways.
